I always refused to watch the full highlights, I didn’t watch this match as I wasn’t able to but knowing that we had lost 5-0 was really heartbreaking and I was about to give up. After 1 year we’re 1st in the league and I’m happy to say that this humiliating defeat helped us improve. And so I’m here watching this now to see from how low we had to restart. Everyone laughed at us, now we’re at the top not laughing at anyone, just pure hard work. I’m so proud of this team. Forza Milan ❤️🖤

Players like Pasalic, Gomez, Illicic, or Muriel; those can play and even score a lot of goals. On the other hand, Milan only got Theo (a leftback) who can score. And oh, Milan didn't qualify Europa group stage in 2018, whilst Atalanta went through the Champions one in this year. There's some gap and evidently we can see it 😊

Its very interesting how the narrative is all about AC Milan yet almost no words are spoken about how potent and dangerous Atalanta BC are. They have been playing the past 10 weeks or so sans Zapata [remember HIM?] and at times sans Illicic and Gomez otherwise they would be right at the front of Serie A. Hence their position on The Table requires a footnote . Guardiola said playing Atalanta was like "going to the dentist" while veteran Juventus GK Buffon stated that on their day "Atalanta can defeat anybody". Gosens is a rising star and others such as Malyinovsky and Pasalic are just getting going and fitting in.

When a Club like AC loses 5-0. Of course the narrative is gonna be about them. No denying that Atalanta deserve every credit for what they achieved in the last 2 years with Gasperini and them being in the CL is already gratifying for their fans. But a team like Milan should never have to suffer a colossal defeat like that to a team that formerly was a mid-table team and even before that were yo-yoing between Serie A and B. You look at 2-3 of those goals and if the players had an ounce of love and heart for the shirt they would have prevented at least 1-2 of them. Illicic's type of goals should be the only ones where Milan cannot be blamed for conceding due to how well they were struck. Milan incapable of worrying Atalanta's defence and get at least 1-2 goals to save face is also another reason why this is such a farce. Their position in the league reflects this match and their entire season so far.

Funny that i just use a Dream League Team of AC Milan and beat Atalanta 5-0

I won 5 champions league a while back with Milan in career mode in fifa lol. That's the only way I'll see them succeed.

I can’t blame Milan or donnaruma .. well Atlanta just scored all the goals from distance like they were unstoppable that played with their mentality

ToMMy Vercetti I’m a Milan fan but I really admire Atalanta and Gasperini. They have such little amount of money but they beat teams who spend a lot of money like Milan and even Juventus.
