To be fair he did play in China which is definitely not something to write home about. People act like if they were the shot callers signing Kim would’ve been an easy decision but you know everything is obvious in hindsight. Instead, we should give credit to Napoli’s scouting team and directors for hitting the jackpot with Kim and Khvicha who were virtually unknown at the time from European perspective. As far as I know there were a couple of potential suiters aside from Napoli but everyone was afraid to sign them. Napoli pulled the trigger and are now reaping the rewards.

I have a feeling that Khvicha rarely gets any pass from his teammates or gets them only when it's too late. Only Osimhen gave him passes.

I am convinced that the season previous to his injury he was the best Right-Back in the world, along with Trent Alexander-Arnold

For two games, teammates almost do not give a pass to Kvara. That's why they lost to Milan and this game was so hard. With such a selfish game, it will be very difficult for them. Osimen has never been greedy the ball because he is a team player, just like Kvara.

What people fail to understand... Napoli's pattern is built around Osimhen. They dominate games simply because opposing teams focus their defence on Osimhen. When they plant 2 or 3 players on him, it makes the opponents lose resources and appear like they're playing with 9 men. It also creates a lot of space for Kvara & the other Napoli players to play with more freedom. Furthermore, whether we admit this or not... Osimhen is the most defensive or most pressing forward in modern day football. Without him, opposing defences aren't afraid to play a high line; they're neither scared of Raspadori nor Simeone. If Osimhen misses the UCL games against Milan for any reason, Napoli is fried.

It's true. Napoli actually switched their play when he was injured for almost 2 months and reverted back quickly to accommodate him. They should either test Kvara as a center forward or play with Ndombele as a false 9.
